The Role: They are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Building Surveyor to join their team! You will be working on a wide range of interesting projects across the main sectors they are involved with from Housing, Education, Commercial, Care and Health.

You’ll be working within a team of over 55 specialists, with the department contributing to a third of the whole annual company turnover! Average project values range from £3M - £100M.

Ideally you will have 2+ years’ post graduate experience and already be working towards your APC.

Additionally, with the company moving more and more to a sustainable future, having a passion for this would be advantageous!

Job Location: South London

Requirements for the Assistant Building Surveyor:

  • Ambition & desire to become MRICS chartered
  • Degree qualified – within a construction related discipline
  • Understanding of core building surveying and project management skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Understanding of the needs and demands of clients and will to exceed their expectations
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills – both written and verbal
  • Able to prioritise workload, planning ahead as required
  • Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
